I was with a party of 6 and had everthing we needed and had a good time with clean rooms daily, we found everyone polite and helpful. we found it easy to get to most places with slight inclines and trains that drop off at the door.

My husband and myself have just returned from our 2 weeks stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast was very basic and I found that it doesn’t cater for the British unless you are a lover of toast. The hotel itself is a complete disaster and the rooms are appalling, my first reaction when we arrived and went to the room was “I want to get the next plane home”, they are less than basic, also the towels are grey now and are to be desired and they must be from the time the hotel first opened, the same goes for the beds the mattresses are blood and urine stained and springs sticking out of mattress. The hotel doesn’t deserve a rating, I think the best thing to do is knock it down and rebuild it. We paid a extra £28 for a sea view when we got on our balcony you were only able to fit two chairs on and then you had to move to let each other past, when I sat down I was unable to see over the balcony as the chairs were so low not that we had much of a sea view as we were on the 4th floor and trees in front of us. The pool wasn’t bad you can say average but it states in the broacher that the sun beds are free this is not correct as you have to pay for them from the 1st of June. So come on you owners of the Warshawa (Varshava) it’s about time you updated your hotel or pulled it down, you are letting down your staff whom work very well and also the tourist who are staying their or even visiting Bulgaria. It has not stopped me from visiting Bulgaria again but I will defiantly be using a different hotel.

We are just back from this hotel and have to inform others that it offers great value for money. Yes the rooms are basic as is the bathroom facilities but it is clean. In fact it reminded me of Greek accommodation in the late 80's. The staff were very helpful and friendly to us.
If you are looking for a central located hotel, that is basic, clean and offers good value for money the warshawa should be you first choice. In fact when we return to Goldon Sands we intend to book this hotel again.
This was our first visit to Bulgaria, and will be returning very soon.

Me, my partner, our 3 children, my mum and my dad have just returned from our 2 weeks stay in this hotel. Bulgaria is a lovely country. The people are freiendly, helpful, polite and they can't do enough for you. The food and alcholic drinks were very cheap, the only dear stuff was the English stuff like Jack daniels and Baileys etc...
The hotel was a complete disaster, it need knocking down before it falls down.
Our young son got an ear infection through the hotels pool, 3 of us had chest infections. All 4 of us on antibiotics within our first few days! Numerous other guests at this hotel suffered the same.
Our braskfasts were prepared, laid out, uncovered at 1.45am and then they were left like this until 7.30am for the guests. We found this out on our last night as we saw them do it while we were in the reception waiting for our coach at 3.30am. They served scrambled egg in this too, this was also prepared and put out, although it was on a warmer, that makes no difference as basic food hygeine explains why you cant do that with eggs especially.
The food was all to accomodate Germans who were loud. Enviromental health were called out twice during our 2 weeks, it was de-contaminated on both occasions. The steps to get in/out of the pool were literally ready for coming off completely. A large rusty spike sticking up out of the ground on the wakway to the pool right next to the gym, the gym was constantly filled with clutter, if there were equipment there we didn't see it! Generally very shabby, staff very rude and unhelpful to say the least. There was 1 member of staff who was really nice though, the waiter who was called 'Passo' I think. My list goes on, I took my holiday complaint to my travel agents and its 17 typed pages long with 14 photograph's with it. Basically not worth a 2 star rating infact it didn't deserve a rating.
At the side of the hotel is a dirt path wooded area where a tramp had been living in a hut thing he had clearly made himself out of boxes and bits. Personally I would have rather stayed in that all of us would. It was probably cleaner and probably had more facilities!
Everyone has different experiences, but unfortunatly this was our worst nightmare come true!
We will be visiting Bulgaria again for definatel, but NOT in this 'hell hole'.
