We stayed at The Grand Hotel Sept 2007 for 2 weeks. The weather was not as good as we would have liked. The hotel has minimalist public rooms. The bedrooms are exceptionally large and Everywhere is very spacious. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as are the general population of Bulgaria. The only thing I did not care for was the introduction of 'All Inclusive' for some guests it lowered the tone of what certainly had been a GRAND hotel.
The proximity to Varna town adds to the interest. We would certainly go back again and travelling with Balkan Holidays on the Spice of Life package is very good value for money indeed.

I stayed in the Grand Hotel this June, and the place is absolutely marvellous!! They have renovated the hotel and it has an absolutely new look.. Many new restaurants and bars are open, all of supreme quality! We were very pleasantly surprised!

I have to tell you that my vacation was speechless.
I already been there 3 times in hotel.

I stayed at this hotel in September 2004.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Food, though different, was cleanly presented and adequate. The surroundind area provided many pleasant walks, the sea being a few minutes away.
Rooms were comfortable, with a balcony and bathroom. I do however wish the there had been some sort of in-house entertainment in the evenings.

Fabulous hotel, great staff, nice rooms, very clean, set in absolutely beautiful grounds and one of the nicest pool areas I have ever seen. I would recommend it

My wife and I stayed in June 2002 for a week.
An absolutely fabulous place to chill out.
Taking friends with us this Sept` for a fortnight.
CAN`T WAIT.....

Although its listed as 5* in the brochure it really is`nt more than 3* as far as I am concerned. We stay there 2 times a year on B&B. We dont go for breakfast as its just a free for all and often there are no tables free. The staff are ignorant, they never offer any help. The rooms are big and have aircon. The bathrooms are pretty good - they have a bath and shower. The linen and towels are changed daily.

Hotel food and staff very good but not much entertainment stayed there September 2002 - not many tours arranged either a bit disappointing in this respect

This Hotel certainly is a FIVE STAR Hotel with superb facilities, top class service, Grade `A` food all at 2 Star prices..
We`re going back.
