Chris & Lynn Jones | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful We have just returned from having 2 great weeks at the VP. Very worried when reading others complaints and found they were largley unjustified. Hotel itself is worth a five star rating, rooms large airey clean, found staff always helpfull and cleaning staff always had a smile. FOOD, well breakfast was no problem plenty to suite all tasts, evening meal found starters, sweets and pastries were lovely only complaint was main course which we would give only 2 stars. Again if you were willing to mix and match with the food you would never go hungry. Found that you had five star accomadation with package holiday food, ([+]view more) you get what you pay for. My wife and I would have no hestation in going back and are now looking at the broucher for next year. To all those whingers who are mocking the VP all we can say is get a life and start to give a bit of praise where due. Was this review helpful to you? My husband and I both ended up with food poisioning 5 days into our holiday. The beds were changed only when we made a fuss and for a 4 star hotel this was very poor. If you are thinking of going to this hotel think again. It looks good but it is all superficial. Was this review helpful to you? Friend's resteraunt around the corner was brilliant and very friendly. we went to the hotel next door to get a sun lounger cos none available in victoria. You would want to get up very early to get one. overall loved the holiday and have booked to go back this year. We are going self catering this time cos its so cheap to eat out. would def recommend sunny beach and a trip to nessabar is a must. Was this review helpful to you? Rooms a good size but with many faults, curtains not fitting windows, bed sheets not fitting beds, leaks in the bathroom, air con not working properly (we had 2 rooms in our 2 week stay) The staff in the main were surly and unhelpful, the main fault we thought was poor training. Unlike a lot of people who thought the food poor we thought in the main it was acceptable and always hot. The hotel is all "glitz" and no "glamour".......needs down rating from 5* to 3* Was this review helpful to you? We took a walk to see what we were missing and it was fantastic. Definately the best hotel in the resort. We asked to see one of the rooms and they were very nice, with bath plus shower, hairdryer, minibar. The pool was really nice, with waterfalls, jacuzzi and swim up bar.The reception was brilliant. One of the floors in the reception had a glass floor with shells, and sand and bamboo beneath with big soft sofas on it. There was a big double staircase sweeping up either side with ([+]view more) statues of elephants and the biggest chandelier you have every seen. Was this review helpful to you?
