Rooms were immaculately clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No carol | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful we stayed at sunrise in June 06. 4 adults 1 child we really enjoyed Bulgaria. Sunrise was excellent. However the hotel caters mainly for the Germans, this wasnt bad for us but some English guests were not happy. Food in hotel not great but great when eating out. Yes No dale cooke | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful On our arrival at the Sunrise Hotel, Golden Sands, Bulgaria , the reception and lobby bar looked smart. On entry to our room, there were only two beds, we booked for 3 beds.The porter came along and when told about this, he got us a camp bed from the housekeeping, for our son.
The housekeeping put the bed up, but had to move the bed side cabinet form one side, and move the other 2 beds up closer to the dressing table/fridge cupboard ( which was falling apart), We ended up stacking the bedsiade table on top of the other to save as much space as possible, as there was not enough room to walk round, and no where to store our luggage.
