| We stayed here last May and apart from the student parties that finished at 4am found the hotel ok however we never ate here and spent time we weren't sleeping on the beach(although i think we wud ave got more rest if we had of slept on the beach). The staff on arrival were friendly and made us feel welcome the hotel rooms were well sized and clean and the towels were changed regularly. The resort itself is a lovely place with lovely people and we are returning again this year although we are trying a different hotel the late nite disruptions put us of returning here. |

| We stayed at Strandja in August 2006. All i can say about this hotel is: HORRIBLE!!!!!!! DON'T GO THERE!!! THE TOWELS WERE VERY DIRTY, THE RESTAURANT WAS DIRTY, THE DISHES WERE DIRTY. BUT THE WORST THING OF ALL IS THE ATITUDE OF THE STAFF BEGINING WITH THE MANAGER OF THE HOTEL(A VERY BAD AND UGLY LADY). WE RUINED OUR HOLIDAY!!! |

| all i can say is the hotel is not a 4 star more like a 2 star the food is terrible and if you like the sound of banging doors and flushing toilets all night then this is for you the only positive thing i can say is that its near the beach |

| We stayed at Strandja in August 2005. The staff is polite, indeed, as long as you don't try to argue. The pool and the entertaining is high class, even if the pool is ruined in certain areas. The evening dinner is some kind of magic...yet we even wonder what we've eaten; surely we discuss what the cook does in first profession. The rooms are cleaned every day; but you get new towels every 4 days !!! Pay 10 levs, and you'll get them every 2 days new. The noise pollution from DISCO ORANGE (located directly beside the Strandja) is quite ok, bars ARIZONA and ROTOPOMA cause more noise...sometimes the whole night. The bar serves good Cocks an a wonderfull espresso; they're fast and reliable (as long as they got glasses to fill)... |

Me (age 17) and my boyfriend (age 19) stayed at hotel Strandja this summer. Strandja is a 3+ stars hotel, so we got very disapointed when we arrived. Our room was very dirty! On the table stood dirty drink-glasses, and there was pee all over the toilet, so we had to clean our room ourselves! Except that the room was dirty, it was a nice room with a good bed and so on.
The woman who came to clean our room, did never knock on the door before she came in, so she just came in when we were sleeping, and told us to get out of the room within 5 minuts, because she had to make the bed.
We don't think the service on the hotel is very good. The women in the reception always look mad, and if you ask them for an example to open the safety-box, you have to wait several minuts because they had to read their magasine finish.
The breakfreast was very borring and tasted like S***!
But - The pool was fine, and the coctails from the poolbar was very very good, it was the best at the hotel.
It looked like they had a lot for children, especially for german children, while they were speaking german. They also had entertainment every night at the hotelpool, but we didn't joined them because there was so many opportunities in the city.
The hotel is near to the beach (80m) wich is very nice, but a bit too long to the mainstreet.
We would like to go to Sunny Beach again, but not at Strandja. Next time we will spend more money at a 4-star hotel like Victoria or Globus. |
