| Recently spent 2 weeks here and really enjoyed it. The hotel is always being cleanedand all the staff were amazingly friendly and couldnt do enough for us. the pool was fantastic and i particularly enjoyed the poolside bar - kawol the barman is really funny. the rooms were good and haad everything we needed, any problem we did have they sent a maintenance man straight away to fix the problem. the food was perhaps the only downside, because it didnt have much variation, i.e kids had chips every night . but if u like salad there is an impressive variation on offer and a continetal breakfast available every morning. Would deffinatley reccomend it, as it is one of the best positioned hotel in the area, very close to beach. there are alot of steps there however. |

| I stayed in Hotel Sofia in Jun 05 and what a hotel. The staff were very good, couldnt do enough for you. The rooms were bright and big and were cleaned every day. Air conditioning a must, even though we had 3 days of rain it was still very warm. Go to Varna 20levs in a taxi for shoppping, great gipsy market, t-shirts for kids for 2 levs. Loads of shopping for men and kids not much for women. Gold jewellery is very reasonable and is quailty gold but make sure you buy from a shop and not a stall. over all our trip to bulgaria was brill and we are going back next year . |

| Back from hotel sofia since 4jul05 and already planning our return trip. The hotel was brill fab pool and lounge area. restaurant wasnt the best and we ate out every night. very cheap |
