| This is truely a jem of a hotel. The standards of cleanliness and luxury would easily compair this to any other 5* hotel anywhere in the world. The staff are extemely friendly, helpfull and have amazingly good language skills. Most of them fluent in several languages. I found the staff at the Lobby bar in the helena park amazing as they were so friendly and good to have a laugh and chat with. If you are staying in Sunny beach this is the place. |

| I stayed in the Blue Riviera last year for two weeks with my two friends and we had such a great time. The hotel itself isn't that great and there wasn't a lot to do and it was a bit secluded from the rest of the hotels that were all along the strip. It was about 15-20mins walk to the strip and at night it was very dark on your way back and there was always wild dogs at night running around near the hotel. As for the rooms they were nice except for the bathroom which was quite small and hard to keep dry as the floor was always wet and slippy. Me and my friends are going back again next year but I think we'll choose a different hotel with more facilties and entertainment. All in all i absolutely loved Bulgaria and I had such a good time I didnt want to leave and i'm still thinking about it. =] |

| We stayed at the Helena Sands in October 2006 and have booked to go back there this year (2008). It is a fantastic hotel, good food, very clean, spacious rooms, fantastic friendly staff - no complaints whatsoever. |

we were most impressed with this hotel and will definitely go back , but the sunbeds on the beach are not free as stated in thomsons brochure you will be charged six lev each bed and six for a parasol 12 lev for the upgraded beds.
also the casino wasnt open when we visited in early june. another one to beware of is the thomsons half day visit to a winery any wine you buy will be confiscated at the airport due to security restrictions so drink it before you return home. but taking all into account an exellent hotel and resort. |
