Location: A complex of 3 ALL inclusive hotels with equal conditions, situated in 50/100 m from the beach and very close to the resort center.
Accommodation: 290 DBL, 10 TPL and 5 SGL rooms, 83 apartments and 30 studios, all of them equipped with ÀC, direct telephone line, cable TV, shower/WC, balcony and mini-fridge. After 23,00 the ALL inclusive services are payable.
In the hotel(s): 3 main restaurants in each hotel, also lobby and pool bars, Italian pizzeria, sunny lobby bar with terraces, bar at the indoor swimming pool area with a dance floor; Irish pub "Flower" and a huge snack bar (800 seats); currency exchange offices, convenience store, kindergarden. Several outdoor swimming pools with children’s section, surrounded with sunny terraces and pine trees. A great variety of sports activities for free - table tennis, mini-golf, darts, aerobics, pool tables, gymnastic, water gymnastics, water volleyball, soccer, street ball. Sports and services, charged locally: safety deposit boxes, medical aid (24 h), Internet, billiard, SPA-procedures, waterslide, tennis, tennis court/classes/, massages, sauna, solarium, hairdresser, manicure. ALL is valid till 23.00; at night all consumed services are payable.

| Just retured from a 2 week stay in this hotel stayed 31/7/06 until 14/08/06.We arrived at airport to find we had no rep and were dropped off by minbus by a non english speaking driver, our room was however huge it was the main room on the front and we certainly had no complaint about it. The hotel itself was clean, staff friendly and polite, towels were changed daily and rooms cleaned out every day, the food we found nice plently of choice although it did cater for the German taste mainly, it was always luke warm apparently this is how the Bulgarians eat it but the hotel staff were willing to heat it for you if needed. Pool area was clean but only one shower area, however if your not up by 7am and want a sunbed forget it ! .This was the part of the hotel we did not like for our first 8 days we were the only English ( that we came across anyway) staying there all the entertainment was German they dont ask you to join in any activities as we found only one member of the active team could translate, we felt sorry for english the second week with kids as they were unable to use the kids clubs. As someone else has said on here I think we should be told its German 98% and everything revolves around them,. However Sunny Beach as a resort we enjoyed and it was cheap enough to drink out of the hotel every night and find a good bar with live English music playing. We would certainly go back again but not to this hotel for no other reason than its all German,even the signs directing you to bars pool areas etc were in German, Also the English return flight times were hidden away in a folder while the German ones were displayed on the wall in reception. Its certainly something we intend to mention to our travel agent so that other Brits can make a choice to go or not. |

| I have to agree with general feedback stated by other people. We stayed there from the 5th to the 20th of july 2004. 2 adults and 2 kids. We had 2 rooms accomodation, and those were really clean and large. Balcony was facing the pool, and was really noisy at night time when animations were taking place (21h30 till 23h00), but that was ok. Pools were ok, even if we could notice a lack of shower places (only one) or a system to 'force' people coming back from the beach to get clean before get into the swimming pool (at least for their feet and legs). 98% of the clients are German of Swiss Germans and all animation is build around their use (bingo...songs...), no way to have a french of english speaking animator (for kids as well). Food was sometimes barely good, and many times awfull, especially if you compare it with what you can have by the sea-side in a normal restaurant. |

| It sure was a good stay at Hotel Rodopi (we stayed there between the 26th of May untill the 9th of June 2004), we enjoyed it very much. The Hotel was very clean and the food, unlike the persons who wrote here below, was very good and varied each day. The only things I have to make a comment about is the fact that everything is in German, including all activities. There are also visitors who do not speak German, you know. |

We have just returned from an all inclusive holiday at this hotel. Please be aware of the following.
The standard of hotel was overall good, however the food offered was totally dreadful. This hotel is a Sol Hotel which caters solely for the needs of it's German clients As a consequence we were unable to join in with any of the activities advertised as none of the animation team spoke English.
This also meant that our child could not participate in the Kids club for the same reason. Please also note that the "Irish Pub" was non-existent as advertised in the holiday brochure.
We did have a good holiday despite the dissapointment of the hotel it's inadequecies but be prepared to eat out if you go here especially if you have children with you. |

| lovely hotel, very clean and well furnished.food ok most of the time. 7 out of 8 of us were ill with upset stomachs or sickness. only downside was that the hotel was 98% german and we feel that we should have been told |
