Location/General information:
• Enjoying a peaceful and quiet location in green surroundings, the renovated Hotel Perla is a pleasant and charming venue in the popular Golden Sands resort. • The modern hotel offers excellent facilities and services, provided by a friendly and dedicated staff. The calm and relaxed ambience of the Perla with a beautiful, lush garden will make your stay unforgettable. • Outdoor pool with a children’s section and the refreshments at the pool bar. The centre of Golden Sands with its choice of restaurants, cafes and bars is just 500 metres from the hotel also benefits by being close to the local bus stop, which has a regular service to the city of Varna.
Accommodation:
• Number of Hotel Rooms: 232 • The rooms are cleaned every day. They have carpets and laminated wooden floors. The bright and spacious interior will add to a good night’s sleep.
Food & beverage:
• The restaurant has a spacious garden terrace and a barbecue area. Your dinner will be accompanied by live music and a great entertaining program. Sip delicious cocktails at the lobby bar which is open 24 hours a day. • There is live music every evening at the main restaurant. • All-inclusive program: - Breakfast buffet from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the main restaurant, - Lunch buffet from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the main restaurant (sandwiches, pizza, spaghetti, salad, soups, dessert), - Dinner buffet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the main restaurant (variety of Bulgarian and international dishes). Drinks: mineral water, soft drinks, beer, table wine. All drinks are included between 11 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. (except spirits; wine only for dinner).

| We visited Golden Sands the summer of 2007, my fiancee, our two friends, and I. I must say that the women in the receptiondesk were rude, but that`s about the only negative thing about this hotel. The rooms were actually quite big, the balcony was large enough for the four of us, and the pool was clean. The breakfast was ok, the girls in and around the minimarked and the exchange-desk smiled constantly and even more when we learned some few Bulgarian words :) The walk down to the centre was just refreshing but if that`s not an option, a cab costs 5 Lev. Or you can take a mini-train for half the price. Behind the hotel, on the left side, we met a cabdriver and got his phonenumber for when we wanted to visit the neighbour-cities. We called him a few days later, he drove us to Varna, told us all about the various shops and traps (pick-pocket etc) and arrived, as agreed, 5 hours later at the excact same spot. We paid him 40 Lev when we arrived GS again. Trustworthy! Loved this holiday! |

| Always great. Easy to access from road, safe parking, clean, comfortable, great wiew, v. good service. CLEAN Pool. Always pleasant attendants and staff. I'll always come here and only here. And I will come soon. With all of this, you can forgive the poor (but not bad) english. And is at a safe distance from noisy clubs and outdoors DISCO's. Not too far if you wanna go there, but enough if you want to take a rest. It's good to be there. |

| JUST RETURNED FROM A 10 DAY HOLIDAY AT THE PERLA IN GOLDEN SANDS. THE BAR STAFF, WAITERS/WAITERESSES WERE VERY GOOD, THE ROOMS ARE GOOD, FOOD IS OK, THE RECEPTION STAFF HOWEVER ARE THE THE MOST UNHELPFUL RUDEST BUNCH OF POEPLE I HAVE EVER MET, MY ADVICE TO ANYONE GOING TO GOLDEN SANDS IS TO GO TO A HOTEL WHICH IS AS CLOSE TO THE SEA AS POSSIBLE, AND IF POSSIBLE GO 4 STAR. RUNNING THE GAUNLET OF THE PROSTITUTES ON THE WAY BACK TO THE PERLA AT NIGHT WAS VERY INTIMIDATING |

| stayed in the perla in july 2005 we could not find a fault the rooms were all newly deco. the food was also good and the staf were very helpful. the resort is very clean. do go to mama mia's and have the steak special. the water par is only 10 mins walk away if you go out the back of the perla and turn left. 10 mins walk will take you into the centre. yes there is prostitutes but they only come over to men on there own or a group of men. the beech is very clean and the sea is really clear. if you don't what to walk back to the hotel you can get the small puffer[train] that goes every half hour and it stops right out side the hotel just for a few pence. they is not much more i can tell you only that we have booked to go back this year with a party of eighteen so come over adn sa;y hello and join in the crack. one more the bar staff were the best so be nice to dee dee. |
