This premier hotel is in a wonderful setting on the sea front overlooking the azure sea and comes highly recommended. The Luna is located 800 metres from the centre of the resort, and is linked to the nearby beach by a series of steps. Clients with walking difficulties can use the main entrance of the hotel, and follow the slope to the golden beach.

| i was there recently and it was discraceful rats on the out side and cockroaches on the inside looking at it you would think it was nice and it is except for the vermin nothing for kids to do they say there is but its s**t dont let them fool you and the view is crap there isnt one as other hotels surround it would never reckomend it to any one. |

| i went to the Luna hotel last year and it was great the food was awesome and the people in the hotel was friendly including the other people staying i didnt have any problems staying there i tried to get in this year and there wasnt a room free for my family, but i will try again next year :) Luna Rocks!!! | We have just returned from two weeks in Golden Sands and enjoyed it. We stayed in the Hotel Luna and have no complaints whatever. The hotel is clean and comfortable to a high standard and the food was good and varied and always in plentiful supply. We last were in the resort seven years ago and we saw many changes. Lots of new large hotels and more to come. The place has become very commercialized with lots of stalls and shops selling lots of stuff. Personally I think they have overdone this as there is hardly a road without stalls. With all the building work the resort has lost its leafy look that used to be appealing. Unfortunately the sewage plant at the north end of the resort has not as yet been upgraded to keep pace with the increase in the number of visitors and in the evenings the smell at the north end can be a bit whiffy as the smell comes up through the manholes in the seafront road. However if you can brave the walk beyond the sewage works and on towards the nudist beach there is a small bar/fish resturant called the Magdalena which offers very good value in food and drink (a beer 1lev (38p)) and the staff are very friendly. PLease do not be put off by these drawbacks as the area affected is small and Golden Sands offers a good holiday at reasonable cost and we can recommend the Luna. |

| We stayed here in May 2002 and had a most enjoyable stay the taxi driver the hotel uses (a boat captain from BapHa) well the rooms were very clean and the food well very if you could get it warm the Germans were always there first and cleared the reserves. Well Golden Sands opened the door for me in Bulgaria I now have a home in Veliko Tarnovo. and now I am on my 4th visit Having stayed 8 out of the 17 months and ready for Christmas 2003. many thanks Hotel Luna. |
