Hello. I must react on the critism of hotel Juli from a tourist victim, who was there in May. Everything what was writen is not true ! Please don´t believe. This hotel was very very good place to have there a holliday. It is small, quiet and CLEAN !!! The cleaning woman has come to clean the badroom every day at 9.00. About 12.00 o´clook she comes again to clean the whole room. Every 5th day she has changed the beddings. So I don´t know, where was this person, who has written the critism ! I think this person belongs to the group our tourists, which are more than worse. We had also one of this person over us and it was terible. The was every day "something" on the balcon and one day I have heard say the cleaning woman to say, that she can not more clean the room, because there was everything on the carpets, walls and floor what you can imagine.
The water in the pool was also clean and it was cleaned every 2nd day ! Also the receptionist was very kind and helpfully. And there was not only the one woman as it was written. I really don´t know how it is possible to have 2 very different experiences ! If you want, I can send you fotos about the hotel. I and my 2 friends was there starting 04.09.07 till 15.09.07 and have no bad experiences ! Really not. So, If you have choosen this hotel, you can go there, it is very nice place ! |

This hotels location is great for a party hotel and the bar staff are absolutely fantastic people, especially Tino! Sadly these are the only plus points of the hotel.
The rooms were poor and even more poorly looked after! The other guys comment is correct the staff are the same everyday and never have a break and from some conversations their pay is awful! The pool is tiny with very little effort around, indeed the hotel lives in the shadow of two much larger hotels on either side! Local residents seem almost hostile towards guests. There is a little shack next to the pool and with one nudge of a ball from the pool we were accused of damages and forced to pay 50 Lev or face the police and/or local mafia!
The night receptionist is the worst part about the hotel - if you're in trouble he pretends not to understand you and refuses to help BUT try and take food/drink to your room and all of a sudden he's fluent in English!! Charging you 50 Lev!!
All in all an absolute joke! Stay well clear appart from after a night out when the bar is still open and enjoy a drink with the legend that is Tino.

| The perfect small hotel with the lowest rates in the heart of Sunny beach. If you want to spent some money and to have a proper vacantion in Sunny beach, I think this is your place! |

| We found the Hotel Juli to be okay, it is in a good location, practically on the main strip, which turned out to be both good and bad. Good points were that you were close to bars,some clubs, shops, restaurants and the beach. Bad points were noise levels, we found the air conditioning didn't work well so had to sleep with the balcony door open, we found the only real quiet time happened at about 8am in the mornings! Great if your after that sort of thing, but wouldn't rate it as ideal for families with young children. They had no lift which was a pain at first, but not bad once you got used to it. The receptionist during the day is very helpful and friendly, and spoke a good deal of English, unlike the rest of the staff e.g. the cleaners. The rooms overall were not bad, we had a mini fridge in ours which was useful, a tv which we couldn't get to work, air con that we also couldn't get to work, a bed that wasn't too comfy, and a very strange bathroom....no shower cubicle, instead a toilet, sink with a shower head next to it, you pulled a shower curtain across just in front of the door and literally showered standing inbetween the sink and toilet, the water ran into a drain situated behind the toilet. Although the shower was very powerful and good, the downside was forgetting to move the loo-roll!! We didn't make it to breakfast for the first few days, when we finally did, however, we wished we hadn't bothered,it didn't look to nice! Advice would be to only use CROWN change booths if you need to change money, and keep your valuables very safe, we locked ours up when we left our room, and my c.d. holder still managed to get 'lost'. Would praise 'Brothers' restaurant, very friendly staff with nice cheap food, 'Chili Peppers' a couple of places down, nice cups of tea and good food/entertainment. Amigo's bar for its cocktails, and mini golf for something a bit different. For a chilled out band-night, Iceberg was a great place to go and Bar Mexo by the beach was real Trendy! All in all. was great fun, great beaches, and a very friendly place to be, personally wouldn't go again but was a good experience. |
