Location/General information: Just across the beach promenade is the gently-sloping, fine sandy beach. Approx. 900 m from the centre.
The Hotel offers
Facilities: These popular hotels have 509 rooms, lifts, each with a lobby with seating areas, reception with safety deposit box, bureau de change, lobby bar, a restaurant where all guests take meals and an ? la carte restaurant. Hairdresser?s and souvenir shops. In the grounds each hotel has a swimming pool with sun terrace and pool bar. Sun loungers and parasols free of charge by the pool. In the Iberostar Izgrev, on the 5th and 6th floors, there is a sunbathing terrace. Sky-Bar on the seventh floor and a well sound-proofed nightclub in the cellar. Indoor pool and modern spa centre with medical supervision in the Iberostar Obzor Beach.
Accommodations: Comfortable rooms with carpets, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, bathroom, WC and balcony, some with sea views. Suites: a living room and bedroom separated by a door, otherwise identical to double rooms. Family rooms: two double rooms with a connecting door (maximum 4 adults).
Gastronomy: Half board. Buffets for all meals.
Entertainment: Daytime entertainment for all guests. Integrated children?s pool. Miniclub (ages 4-12).

| Spent a very happy 2 weeks at this hotel. Food good a varid, Cleaning staff were brillaint our only complaint was the staff at reception who apart for one was rude and unhelpful. Had a row on the last night after our flight was delayed by 6 hrs and they would not let us have a meal even though we had not used our full alocation of meals. One girl ruined our holiday. |

| This hotel is spotless and the food is varied and hot! out kids ate there daily and had no dicky tummy whatsoever, the downside is that it is mostly Germans and yes the majority are very rude and ignorant, they will walk in front of you in the restaurant and the will close the door in your face but act like them, believe me you will feel better afterwards! the animation crew are brilliant and viktoria (the boss) does everything for your kids, her english is as good as her german and she will involve your kids, (my daughter has come home singing german songs as has her german friend gone home singing english songs!) The entertainment in the hotel was not for me as it was a bit too oldish im 32 and my partner is 33, we preffered Albena for the nightlife much more our cup of tea, but on the whole i will visit bulgaria again maybe not Golden Sands but we will definateley go back. |

| 2003 was our first visit to Bulgaria - definitely not our last. The hotel is fantastic - as are all the staff. The food was varied and there was something for everyone. The sea view rooms are well worth paying for. The animation team provided daily entertainment for all ages and a brilliant show in the evening (as well as the Snoopy Disco!!!). Thanks to Slavi, Martin, Teo, Ilin, Viki etc for a wonderful time. We arrived back in Liverpool on 5th September, went back to Golden Sands for a week in October and have booked our summer holiday for 2004 at the Izgrev. We made some very special friends on this holiday and have happy memories. See you all in August!!! |

| excellent hotel with a brilliant location right on the sea front, food was excellent with a wide variety. The only problem is that is was like being in the 4th riech and our 11 year old daughter wouldnt join the kids club as all the other kids appeared to be german. This being the only down side about the hotel. I realise it is an international hotel but a 10-1 majoriy is a bit one sided. apart from that the hotel is to be recomended on its cleanliness and to anybody who wants a bit of built in entertainment as the animation crew were excellent their shows were not to be missed |

| Lovely hotel, excellent location, great variety of food , the only thing we found was that we were outnumbered by German tourists by 10-1 - we are from the UK. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, we have two small boys under five and they loved it (they couldnt however join the kiddy club - all the other children were German) |
