AUSTRIA Party Team 2005 | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful Though the hotel isn't very modern, we had our best journey. The breakfast was very well (though we drank all night long! :-)!) The personal was nice. The hotel is only 5 minutes from beach away. Additionally, the best disco in town (ORANGE!!!) is only 2 (!!!) minutes away. If you visit sunny beach, you have to take a B-52 in hotel BALKAN. The bar man of this hotel mix the best ones. The rooms aren't dirty at all (maybe you will find some fish in front of your room door - merry christmas).
The most guests are from scandinavia. They are nice and open-minded. Sunny beach and hotel Balkan is the best option to spend your "Maturareise" there (very cheap and a lot of fun - and alcohol!!!) The bathroom seemed to have been done up lately, it was clean and everything was new in it. The room is not luxurious, but it is just o.k. for having somewhere to sleep. The breakfast is all right too, although you get the same things every day. But at least you can eat as much as you want. The only bad thing about our room was that it looked over Disco Orange, mentioned below :), and the guests over there were shouting and singing loudly each and every night until closing time. Staying there was a nightmare. Furniture was really old, mattresses propably 20yers old, u could'nt close the door to bath/the bath was new :)/, during 10 days we had the same loundry.
