| Impolite reception, Bes |
| Some of my friends stayed at Astoria so I visited them in their room. The reception behaved very badly, looking at us in an aggressive way. They also threatened to bring security unless I didn't leave the hotel in 2 minutes. In general this hotel sucks! Slow elevators and don't think they deserve 3* either. |

| very disappointed this year with this hotel. Visited last year on bed & breakfast basis - so impressed we returned this year only to find we had to book half board. The food was not up to standard - also very limited choice. On the plus side the hotel is excellent - very clean - staff very friendly and helpful. Won't be returning to this hotel next year though. |
