Rooms description: Astera Hotel & Casino has 203 rooms on 9 floors, all offering a stunning panoramic view. Contemporary designed rooms are all equipped with electronic lock system, TV set with satellite channels, mini-bar, individually controlled air conditioning.
Sports/Entertainment: There are at your disposal: 10 tennis red-clay courts, bowling hall, mini-golf playground, open-air fitness area, house-racing arena, cycling alleys, bow shooting grounds, indoor and outdoor pools. Pro:- Great location, good hotel features, good meal and breakfast (tad expensive). Nice loudge. Service people are nice and helpful. Nice swimming pool and spa centre.
Con:- Bad traffic during 10am, can take hours to get out via taxi or rental car (due to police check up). No parking and cannot park on street due to rental contract (secure parking).
Con:- The reception was hostile, they lock room and demand payment while in middle of vacation, which I made clear that I will honor bill as I check out. I got rude response that does spoil the day.
Con:- No internet in room, has to use WiFi in loudge.
Conclusion:- Great hotel but let down by hostile reception and some people (in spa) should try harder to keep us happy. The resort need to seriously resolve traffic issue and remove police blocks. |

| WE VISIT IN BULGARIA IN VARNA ' GOLDEN SANDS THE FERST TIME END WE WILL COME AGAINE IN JULY ' THE HOTEL ASTERA WAS LIKE MORE THEN FIVE STARS ' BEST SERVIC , SMILLIG STAF , ALWAYS TRAYING WITH GOOD WILL 'FOR SHURE I WOOD TRY TOO BE THER AGAIN , ZAKI ISRAEL . |

| l gotta say very nice time l spend there . Expensive not matter now. But l will definataly never forgot my vecation. Very nice people. and l have to say l had the best room with great view . |

| It is a nice hotel. The staff is not very friendly and on top of all of that we had our 350 dollar digital camera stolen from our room and not much was done about it. Very dissapointed. |
