Location/General information:
• Located in the centre of the Golden Sands resort, Aphrodite Hotel is a mere 2-minute stroll from the beach and very close to night entertainment. • The outdoor and indoor swimming pools include sections for children. • Close to the property there are numerous restaurants, folk-style taverns, snack bars and cafeterias. • Many aquatic sports can be practised in the area, and a yacht port with more than 100 docking places is nearby. • In the all inclusive offer free sunbeds and parasols at the pool are included.
Accommodation:
• Number of Hotel Rooms: 180 • The hotel is fully air conditioned and all rooms include a balcony. • All rooms have telephone; cable TV, WC, bath, hair-dryer, refrigerator.
Food & beverage:
• You can enjoy dining at the buffet-style main restaurant with an open air terrace, the lobby bar, pool bar or in the sky bar. • Buffet breakfast is served between 08:00 to 10:00, buffet lunch is served from 12:00 to 14:00 and dinner is served from 18:00 to 20:00. • The tea-time break is from 16:00 to 17:00, with tea, coffee, ice-cream, sweets and snacks being served. • Local drinks alcohol, soft drinks, draught beer, tea, coffee - are served between 11:00 23:00.

| Me and my wife went to golden sands for our honeymoon and just came home. We stayed at the aphrodita hotel, sadly enough, for two weeks and had to change rooms three times. 1.st room had no AC, no cold water. 2.nd room still had no AC. 3.rd room had poorly working AC...finally. The staff was very unpleasant towards us the entire time. If we got any new towel, they were extremely dirty and staned. There i state IF. They took our old towels, but seldom put any "clean" ones in. Smaller things, like medicin, change and lighter, were stolen from our room. The breakfast was really poor. We and other guests often got stoumach pain every time we took breakfast at the hotel. Even if the poolside was nice and had a very professional, social, nice and fun guy "micel" hired there as a janitor, We WARN YOU about this hotel. Do not belive their "four stars"!! The are not worthy of any more than 1-2 stars. If you already booked it. Reconsider changing your mind. Alot of other nice hotels in the area. Pick anyone of them, and it will be better than this. |

| we stayed at the hotel june / july 2006 we found the hotel clean with reasonable food and a pretty good bar but thats were it ends to get to the beach was a walk down and up steep hills the hotel is also very noisy at night with people singing, skinny dipping in the pool till 4and5 in the morning we complained about the noise but got absolutely no help, in fact the so called security man was also drunk and skinny dipping himself we also established that the manager of the hotel was the owners daughter who had no control over her staff who just seemed to do what they pleased this hotel is in the wrong location with the wrong manager and staff and we will certainly NOT be staying there again |
