The problem with Roussalka is that the service and the rooms are poor. I paid for a family room this summer (2007) and they didnt provide all the facilities I paid for. For instance the second room had no tv set and the air conditioning was left without a remote control. The telephone didnt work in both rooms. There was no Internet facility in the whole resort. And there were other minor problems too, like broken doors or lockers, etc. More, there was no refrigerator in those rooms. I asked for one, for money, but they refused to provide one in 10 days!!! I signaled to the reception the problemes twice but there was no reaction. I paid for three stars and I got two. Also the food was not so good as in the past and the animation team was terribly boring. As for the beach rescue team I had to signal him that a guy is criying for help in the sea while he was busy at the beach bar with the bartender. I also noticed some sort of a discrimination by the Bulgarian personell between the German turists and other east-europeans.
My conclusion is that Russalka is a wonderful place, but the people running Roussalka are a shame. |
