I have to say that the hotel was the worst thing of my holidays. The hotel was very dirty, the room also, the woman came to clean our room every day, but she didn`t clean nothing. I want to say to everyone, that if You will go to Sunny beach for holiday, please don`t choose Polyusi Hotel. Byeeeeeeeee Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Terence Union | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful I stayed at the Polusi on my visit to Bulgaria last year and I thought it was a fantastic hotel. The staff are very plesent especially Carlos in the 24 hour bar, The hotel cleaning staff were a little shy but very courtious and they kept the rooms sparkling. The food in the main and Chinese restaurants is excelent and is not expensive, the portions of food snacks in the lounge and bar are quite large and very good value. The Hotel Pool and the Barbeque areas are cleaned nightly and are well patroled by life guards and security staff. A special mention to the Medical staff (we had one emergency) and they were top class. Over all the staff ([+]view more) of the Polusi and the people of Bulgaria made my holiday last year one of the best i've ever had. I'll be back in August 05 hope to see you there.
Ps. The kababs are fantastic!.

Marlon | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful I been to Bulgaria twice, in 2002 to Polyusi and 2004 to Yantra. I must say both Hotels are very good value for the money yet different. Polyusi is nice and schielded from random travelers, and also the home of the "Whiskey Gobler" It aslo closer to the beach than Yantra, yet both are equally far away from the .mainstreet.
Polyusi is the better one if one has kids, since the have a arcade with pinball machines...
Cheers

Sandra and John | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful We stayed at the Polyusi in July 2004 and found the hotel good value for money. The food, although not exciting, was edible although the menu was a little repetitive! Pool was nice and clean, lifeguard cleaned it every night. Some hotel staff were very friendly. Cleaners still in the hotel at midnight. Shops were good, included a hairdresser and beauty salon on site.

Chinese restaurant was excellent. Rooms a little on the small side but clean. Three of us stayed in one room and by the end of the two weeks we felt really cramped.
Overall we would recommend this hotel. We are going back to Bulgaria next July but have bookedthe Globus Hotel.

steven | 1 out of 1 found this review helpful i stayed in the polyusi twice and there were the best holidays i have been on by far. the staff in the bar are very nice and the staff in the indian bar are brill. we even went out to ther bars with them. the location of the polyusi is perfect as it is minutes from the beach and nitelife but the area around the hotel is generally quiet. i will definitey be going back. Cleaners did their best -towers and etc. was changed once a week. Every evening the same program, singing and music. Our first night was a terrible. We didn`t sleep at all because of noise. The rest of nights went just fine.
It is worth of visiting Bulgaria and Sunny Beach and if you go to the hotel Polyusi you won`t die!

Yanto | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful Just returned from my third visit to the Polyusi and IT WILL BE MY LAST!!!!!!!!!!!
From being a well run friendly hotel the Polyusi has turned into a doss house...crap food(but if you pay in the bars the food is AMAZINGLY 100 % better) in the restraunt so dont go half board, noise all night from unattended kids roaming around while their parents get drunk in the 24 hour bar....even the well patronised Indian bar is now crap...no one has the time to make conversation, the staff all walk round as if they dont want to be there and dont want YOU to be there.
This was my 7th visit to Sunny Beach.....the resort is on the up big style ([+]view more) and is a great place to go but as for the Polyusi...FORGET IT....... unless you are Irish then you will feel well at home!!!!!!!!!!!
