We stayed last July for a week the staff were brilliant the pool bar and evening entertainment was 1st class unfortunatlely it is not being covered by balkan tours this year otherwise we would have returned.

Hotel is 10 min from centre so not as noisy and no yobs so ideal for yong families good value for money. Pools and outdoor bar are great looking forward to returning next year. Staff were excellent and helpful children really enjoyed themselves. We stayed July 07. highly recommended.

Last year I went to this hotel, I can say it's great for children, since it has 3 swimming pools, with mini aquapark. I really had a great time, I would recommend it to families. food was ok, rooms were good too, to sum up-great quality for this price! enjoy!

This is one of the best hotels in Sunny Beach. It is at the start of the resort and about 10 minutes by train to the centre. I would definately recommend this hotel to people with children as there is two fabulous pools, one with 7 slipes which definately kept us amused never mind the kids. The resort centre is far too busy for children and we had no problem watching them at our hotel. If i was returning to Sunny Beach, i would definately stay in this hotel.

This hotel is very nice, there is nice swimming pool, nice beach, good restaurant etc. We were satisfied and we are going there in summer 2006. I can recommend this hotel to all people, especially for children. The staff was good too.

We where here in june 2005. I must tell that this hotel is not so good. The first day i have buy two butels of champagne and strawberry. The guard in the hotell stop me and say, its not allowed to take this things to room. The hotel is fare away from anything. We must take a taxi or the local train to go the place where something happen. Dont go there.

Too noisily (2 roads + waterfall in the swimming pool ). Personal is too boorish. Please be careful to select the hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

Was there in August 2004, the hotell was ok, the food was terrible and it was toooo far from everything... Had to take the Taxi every night...

The pools Sarah used was just the outer pools, lying between the hotel and the road leadin to Nesebar.

In addition there is a inner pool, lying between the two bedroom blocks and the reception area. This pool is divided into two parts, a wading pool for children and a swimming pool with a uniform depth of 150cm.

As a side note, a Bulgarian dance band "entertains" in the inner pool area from 1930 hrs to 2330 hrs every night. They are LOUD, which is great, I suppose, if you love loud bulgarian dance band music intensely, but a real bummer if you don't (I don't) and if you get one of the bedrooms 10 meters away from the speaker stacks ([+]view more) (I did).

I have been living at Hotel Kotva the two times I have been in Sunny Beach, I just love the hotel, the swimming pool, the bar, the restaurant, the workers there. People are always nice, and if you need any help they will be there to help you at once. I dont wish to live at any other hotel cause Kotva satisfy all my needs. I wish to visit Sunny Beach again next summer, and also this time stay at Hotel Kotva.

I think that hotel Kotva is one of the best hotels in Sunny Beach area.

Although i did not stay at the hotel kotva, and have therefore not seen the rooms of the hotel, i can tell you that the reception area and swimming pool seem lovely.
During the day, I payed 5 leva (about £2) to use their swimming pool which was excellent.
The pool has three sections. A very shallow section with two colourful water slides for children, but many adults used hem.
A deeper pool for swimming with a jacuzzi in and a pool bar with stools actually in the water and another deep pool with 4 adult slides and 1 tube slide in the dark. Also waterfalls. The pool is execellent,as looks the reception. Drinks and snacks good ([+]view more) too.
