Bourgas, visit in August 2011- Is a truly nice town (city). The people are most welcoming and the beaches and main streets clean and nice to walk in. I had very good food in a number of restaurants - my favourite was (I cant remember the Bulgarian name but it translates to) "The Iron Lamp" - Fantastic place to eat and I cant wait to get back during 2012.

Very nice place. I've been to all of major towns: Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Tarnovo. Burgas is by far the best one. It's been voted as the best city to leave in Bulgaria in the last two years. Enough said. Try it yourself.

I SPENT A BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS IN BOURGAS. THE TOWN IS EXCELLENT BELIEVE ME. EVERY YEAR I GO ON A HOLIDAY IN BOURGAS. IT IS THE BEST PLACE IN THE WHOLE COUNTRY, VISIT IT AND YOU WILL SEE.

we have bought a house near bourgas and have fallen in love with the country and the people, i can`t belive how friendly and helpful they are. Bourgas and Sunny beach are great but there is a lot more to Bulgaria than the coast. can`t wait to go back.

It was my first time to Bourgas. The beach at Bourgas is 2/3 mins away and the only English spoken was between us, but everyone understands you, no really lovely. You can get a local Taxi to the beach or town centre for around 2 leva and they are with you before you have put the phone down. Very good local markets for clothing and the fresh fruit vertually for no cost at all. People the best in Europe, they go out of thier way the help. Go to St Vlas or Sozopal for the day, wonderful.

People,look at our town. It is so beautiful. You can apreciate it only when you go abroad and see others.
There is nothing better than your home town!

I had the chance to experience the magic of this place in July/August 2004.
Lovely boulevards with lots of cafe’s, fantastic sea garden, excellent restaurants and friendly people must be the trademarks of Burgas.
Strongly recommended by everyone coming to Sunny Beach or other touristy destinations.
I will definitely go back.
