Elenite. If you want to relax and chill then Fort Nox is the place. With the option of going to the ball so to speak at Sunny Beach or St.Vlas. Perfect for the family. Waterpark up the road. Busses in and out of everywhere. And I am about to go back. Cant wait!
The best place on the Bulgarian coast. Vacationing with family for two consecutive years. Stayed in the villas. Beach is also very good, gently sloping entrance to the sea clean sand. Aqua-park so-so but it is quite suitable for children. Lots of good restaurants. And a lot of greens.
We went last year 2007 and are going back this year. Everything was beautiful, weather, beach, sea, apartment was old fashioned but spotless, no mossies which was a bonus, food was excellent and plenty of sun ripened local fruit. A proper relaxing holiday where you werent ripped off and safety of children was paramount. 9.9 out of 10 .Clothes were bargain but tat, ideal for holiday. No leather bargains there though. This year we are booked for the Royal Bay hotel so will fill you in when we get back.
i went to royal bay and it was sick all tho the security wa wa**ers danny boi hu runs the scooters is so cool c u all soon blud
hey jus gt bak 2 daii fort it wer brill goin evrii year now the animation team are the best specially alexandrina n meggie x c u nxt yr joely...x
I have purchased an apartment from fort Nox in Elinite, On the Priviledge fort nox site, All I can say is Get your backsides to Elinite this place is great, The staff are first class, and i cannot wait to get back
hi everybody..look that was my second year at elenite (royal bay)and granted there was a few changes...food not so good as last year (but i never starved eh) if u know what i mean>>>>your always gonna get complaint (you cant please everybody)....ive worked with the public all mey life..........but anyways look i though the resort done me and me family proud once again and if i have my way ill be back again next year for sure ...and to all the wingers id say for goodness sake lets be lucky you never had two weeks in the middle east ........ha ha >>>>think positive ppl
i loved it there. food was ok, could have been better but the sunshine restaurant was superb. lovely and hot, staff have very little english but enough to get by. lovely and friendly and polite people. room was lovely, overlooking the beach. not much adult entertainment but i would recommend it for families with kids.
I went to bulgaria in the summer of 2004, it was the worst holiday i had ever been on. The food was terrible, it was always cold and undercooked. The room which was meant to be a twin room (two rooms joined together) turned out to be one room joined to another with another family in it, but i must admit the views were excellent. The activities were terrible. I tried the rifle shooting, i left though after finding out we were taking shots at, not targets, but, tin cans! Sunny beach however was good but it was miles away, the bus which could hold about 50 people had about 200 people on it. The beach was very close by which was good and sea was very clean. It was very cheap but if I was to go again I definitely wouldn't stay in Elenite but go to Sunny Beach were there was alot more to do and alot of restaurants to choose from including McDonalds!
Just got back 21/9/04 The location was excellent beach & Sea lovely The food I thought could have been better Carved meat for instance, however out of all the reastraunts their we always found somthing we liked. The staff were a bit offish with the English and the entertaiment was very poor apart from the excellent animators, Avoide the Fist Choice Rep show its very poor value. The Jeep Safari was brill and had us in fits of laughter all day. My main complaint was that had an nice clean chalet right on the beach on the first floor but the view from the balcony was completly block by a huge tree so we had no light coming in let alone the view, and their were a number of other people that had the same situation. Nothing really to do in the evening apart from going into Sunny Beach Taxi 30 Lev return if your lucky or Bus very cheap but last one back is at 22:30 and very hard to get on over 80 people cramed in on our trip. Had a good time but as Bulgaria is so very very very cheap I'd only go back Room only we had a meal, dersert & beer for £5 each
I really enjoyed my holiday in Bulgaria, it was so lovely and hot, especially on the beach. In the water you could see your feet, the sea was so clear it was beautiful, which was also a bonus! The Barmen were very welcoming, especially with the odd wink or two to keep you going, most often happening in the nessebar resturant, which was kind of a buffet! The food was lovely it was my favourite resturant we went to!
Sunny Beach was also good, but if you are thinking of going, don't walk it took ages!
The one and only thing i would disapprove on, is the cleaners that sit in the toilets, the nasty looks and sniggers are quite uncomfortable, but it really is not that bad.
My apartment was 132, I thought it was a lovely apartment.
My holiday in Bulgaria was extremely worth travelling there, we are even thinking of going again, to the same resort in years to come.
I loved enite holiday village. It wasnt as good as last year, but that was because the weather was not so good! The food was lovely, very healthy, and escpecially nice in the elenite restaurant in which you have to book into, pork, lamb, beef, the works!! What also made it worse was that the english first choice have joined, when i went last year it was only bulgarian entertainers and it was much better. The shows with the bulgarian animation team were fantastic, they were amazingly choreographed and very entertaining on the other hand the english entertainment was quite poor, it was a really bad example of how the british act. Silly games like filling your mouth with marshmellows and saying fluffy bunny, laying on top of men you dont even know. If i wanted that of course i would have gone to Butlins. Does anyone who has commented on this website speak bulgarian??? I dint think so. The male bulgarian animators where complete gentlemen and sat and drank with us a few of the nights and the women where also very polite. They were very educated and if there english was not as good they could either speak german or french fluently!!
When we where having tea at the royal bay hotel we did not leave our seats for the waiters served us constantly!
It was so good, i will be going back next year! And i loved the bulgarian animators so much i am keeping in touch with them!
So if you want to find enlish reps every where go on holiday to ibiza or go to butlins, but as far as i can see this place was ruined when the english animators arrived. Apart from funky Phill he was great!!
Again, if you look down at the reports from 2003, they are very good and most people were very pleased with there stay! that was when the english animators where not there, and all of a sudden 2004 comes along and there are bad reports, i find this funny cos this is when the english animators started working there!!
I would recomend it !!!!!!!
just got back 24/06/04,lovely hotel and beach food absolutly rubbish for a all inclusive hotel. nothing to do at elenite need a taxi to sunny beach costing 30 levs return. very little adult entertainment. and most staff very ignorant and can speek very little english if you want a relaxing holiday elenite is the place to go first choice reps and animation team very good with childeren.
We have just returned from a week at the Elenite which was just like Butlins with attitude!! Food very mediocre and not much choice for kids except chips every day. Would not go again, too many steps & potholes for wheelchairs/buggies. Anyone wanting a peaceful holiday or one full of activities - stay away. Did anyone find the tennis courts?
Just got back (4th Jun 04). Fantastic beachside location, beach excellent, new 5* hotel next door nearly finished and will probably be great when done. Our first few days were not good. Our "family" room turned out to be a twin room with 2 extra very narrow "camp" beds thrown in. Had a leak in the bathroom from upstairs!, got moved to a new room which had a blocked drain in the bathroom!. Got this cured then the holiday just got better and better. Food good but we found the general service to be lacking a bit. For the little that we paid, the beach and the weather would have been enough but we got much more and had a great time.

Had a wonderful stay here in 2003. I dnt know which brochure Angela booked from but all those I saw mentioned the hills and steps and its unsuitability for the less able bodied. I was recovering from triple bypass and had NO mobility problems although it is very hilly. After all, it is built on the side of a mountain so I guess it would be hilly! GO and enjoy..its wonderful!
Stayed at the complex for 1 week at the beginning of June 2003. Staff were very pleasant. The food was good in every restaurant. Children were well catered for. Overall an exceptional holiday and wanted to book it again for next year but it was fully booked when we got home. The only problem I felt was that none of the brochures showed that there were so many steps - a great inconvenience for those with prams / buggies and especially so if someone had travelled who was disabled.
very nice place
