Great place. Very clean, and well furnished. Staff was friendly and professional, the amenities are great, particularly the poll. Main street is across the hotel. It's lined up with all kind of small shops that sell anything and everything, food vendors etc etc. There is music everywhere, a couple of night clubs are located right across from the hotel, but due to the garden you can't hear any noise. Cross 'Main Street' you end up on the beach. It's a small beach and quite dirty - a lot of cigaret butts. If you take a left on Main Street and walk for about 1 kilometer, you'll end up in 'Old Town'. There is some pretty cool architecture to see, and some very nice traditional restaurants. It's a very nice hotel all in all. Great for family vacation but plenty of entertainment around for party people.

To start with, I want to say that we're pretty much familiar with the offering of the Bulgarian resorts, but we haven't visited Sozopol, until now. Moreover, we can definitely say we haven't visited a hotel like Martinez in Bulgaria yet. We had high expectations, as we prefer to stay at five star hotels, but the four-star Martinez absolutely met our expectations. The closed apartment type complex ensured the peace and quiet, while the proximity to the fun part of the city made possible for us to enjoy ourselves in the evenings. The rooms are nicely furnished and are of decent size. They are cleaned every day, so cleanliness is not an issue. We went for the all inclusive and didn't regret, the food was delicious and the variety was comforting. To be exact, the variety was a problem, because you'd want to try everything, buy it's just not possible. The staff of the hotel are all nice, everyone speaks english so communication was good. The animation was very friendly and kids loved to spend time with them. All in all, our vacation was great, we found another place worth visiting again - Sozopol, and more specifically, hotel Martinez.

Although i am quite young, i went with my family last year and i thought that it was brilliant there is a lot of bars/restraunts, the beach is about a minute away, the food is very good there was an indoor swimming pool which is now probably complete. I would recommend going again as it was fantastic!
