We have just returned from holiday and the staff were all very nice and took time to speak to people the food was realy nice and plenty of choice looked forwerd to my breakfast and tea .the rooms were a nice size and clened every day .

Just got back from a 2 week stay @ the Trakia. The pictures don't do the hotel any justice as the hotel for being a 3 star was outstanding. Pool fantastic and very clean, Staff spoke well english and very nice. Only problem with the hotel was the food. We ate there about 4 times in all during the stay and rest of the time we went to the National around the corner. Sunny Beach is a beautiful resort with everything well looked after. I would visit again but would make sure we definatley had the correct sprays for Mosquitos. For 2 of the nights we were attacked and have never seen anything like it! Also a huge problem in the resort was cruelty to ([+]view more) animals which I will be getting on to the RSPCA about. It was the only thing that ruined it for me. You must try it though and see for yourself!!!!!!

stayed there aug 2005 very disappointed didn't cater much for kids no evening entertainment for the young ones. staff friendly and rooms very spacious
food they seemed to cater for the germans more than the english

we visited trakia 1 year ago and enjoyed it very much staff were very helpful i would go again

Visited September 2004, stayed two weeks on half board. Revamped 70's hotel to a high standard.
Spotless public areas. Good room size which were clean and comfotable. Towels changed every three days and daily maid service.
Food o.k. basic but edible. Good choice if you bear in mind the low price you are paying.
Hall porter Vassell is as another writer has said, very friendly and helpful, a gentleman.

i have just returned after 2 weeks at the hotel trakia. read earlier comments and gotta say food was very good. only had breakfast once and was ill once. mayby the brekkie not sure. but was quite close to each other. the porter vassel was very helpful and his english very good. the barmaid dimmi was also very helpful but limited english. both very friendly though. came home and realised i forgot my cd's and cd player. rang a fried the next day who went and picked them up for me no problem.

We stayed there in May/June 2002. Nice hotel.
If you're a vegetarian, don't bother with dinner - you won't find a lot to eat. And beware of the staff: one of the cleaning ladies threw away (took?) my simcard which I had left on the table while sitting on the balcony myself and wasn't able to find it a few minutes later. The staff at the reception didn't give a damn. Never again!
