very nice hotel. well maintained and very clean although the food was not up to much for kids, and the kids club was all in german! great location and nice room. the only down side was the kids club and the food.

Went to this hotel in 2003 and are going bacl again this year 2008 5 years after meeting my husband there he was a member of the hotel security, we fell in love got married lived happily ever after etc etc. Love the people love the hotel and canny wait to get there would recommend bulgaria to anyone.
But please note if you arn't keen on the germans then this is not the hotel for you as everything and i mean everything is aimed towards them.

Hotel very clean, bedding and towels changed daily, had a fantastic time in sunny beach, only problem was the hotel was full of germans, everything was catered for the germans, the food, the entertainment was all spoken in foreign language, but you need to say that your english so your kids can join in the fun!! lovely pool, very clean, we did have a bit of a problem getting sun loungers you need to be up at 6 am to get a bed. The hotel staff are very friendly especially dido who will go out of his way to help you, but the receptionist staff are quite rude, very little english is spoken which was annoying the kids club is catered for the germans ([+]view more) as well, ok if your german though, but overall had a brill time, we have just booked to go again next year but in another hotel which is more english run.

I can't complain about the hotel very clean, clean towels and bedding daily, Food atrocious unless you are German or like German food, Entertainment is all German you will need to tell them if you have kids that your English so your family can join in the fun!! The staff are very friendly especially DIDO, he loves the english and will do anything to help you. Loved Bulgaria just booked to go again next year but in a different hotel, that is catered alot more for the english.

do not go unless you either speak fluent german or are one, everything at this hotel is for them food, entertainment etc.
Staff speak very little english except dido who speaks very good english and is a good laugh.
the food is absoluty digusting but the hotle is spotless and very secure (security patrol site 24/7)
my verdict is this the hotel would be fabulous if only it was catered for the english aswell as thwe germans and if thwe food was better. aslo if u would like a sunbed round the pool expect to get up around 6.30-7.00 AM to lay your towels on them otherwise u will have a day stood round the pool.

Arrived back from Sunny Beach 11/06/07.We all had a fantastic time after feeling a bit optermistic before we went out there.But we need not of worried as Sunny Beach Bulgaria is a fantastic place for a family beach holiday, it is very clean and the People on a whole are very freindly. The most friendly of these was Dido at the Nessebur Beach Hotel he loves British People (not so keen on the Germans) he seems to have picked up our sence of humour as well. The Nesseur Beach Hotel is a very clean well equiped Hotel and the food is good, if you like pie and chips i would stick to Benidorm or Blackpool. All in all Bulgaria is a much cleaner and cheaper ([+]view more) Holiday destination than Greece or Spain don't be put off by some of the comments on this page.

fantastic hotel, very clean, 1 minute from the beach, staff very friendly, but dont speak any english apart from dido the barman, who is a complete star. he likes the scottish aswell! (as the english, see other comments) lots of germans and EVERYTHING is geared up for them including the family club, but just let the entertainment staff know that your kids would like to join in and they will make an effort. if you go, say hello to dido for us. paul and elaine xx

Hotel was very clean staff were helpful especially Dido.
Food was atrocious, but very cheap to eat out. Entertainment was all German kids club catered more for adults than kids and most of the germans were very rude. Apart from all this we had a fantastic time in bulgaria and have just booked our next holiday there lots to do and see an excellent holiday to be had!

The hotel is very clean, towels and bedding changed daily. The hotel accomodates mostly Germans, SO DONT MENTION THE WAR! Theres no entertainment for adults only children which is all in German. You'll need to get up at 6am to get a sunlounger cos the Germans all arrive at the pool like damnbusters so dont forget your alarm clocks kids. Most of the staff dont speak english, apart from our favourite bartender Dido and he loves the English. The food is eadable but mostly caters for Germans once again, no baked beans in site. Its extremly cheap so you can go out to eat, loads of bargains to buy. And the bulgarians are very friendly and dont hassle you ([+]view more) when looking in the shops to buy stuff they show you the items then walk away.

11 - 25 September 2005. Nessebur Beach Hotel is clean, well looked after, has pretty gardens and a very good pool area. Staff are helpful and friendly, though they speak very little English, and all entertainment is in German. The maids were excellent and cleaned our rooms and changed the beds and towels every day. The rooms were nice, with plenty of hanging space, and draws and shelves for clothes and luggage.
The only thing that let Nessebur Beach Hotel down was the food, unless you want to live on pizza, cake and ice-cream! We had to eat out most nights, which luckily is very cheap to do, and there are 100's of places to eat out in Sunny Beach, ([+]view more) and plenty of entertainment such as karaoke's, live music and quiz nights.
There were 8 people, aged between 13 and 52 in our party, and we all had an excellent time in Bulgaria. We will definately go back, though we will go self catering next time.

Excellent Hotel. Very clean. Great food with lots of choice. All staff very friendly especially Dido who loves the English. This hotel has mainly German guests but this was not a problem, although if your kids like entertainment this is catered for in German. Would definately go to Bulgaria again and in this Hotel !

nice, clean hotel. Close to disco Lazur and bars and restaurants. Nice swimming pool !
Entertainment was only in german, and some of the staff were rude. Food was ok, but everyday a bit the same.
When u ask a vodka orange, be sure you get more vodka then orange !

Had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was very clean, the maids cleaned every day and towels & sheets changed every other day(if not daily). Staff very friendly - large vodkas! Pool & surrounding area immaculate. The food was ok and you could always choose something to your own taste. There was a lack of entertainment for the British, unfortunately the entertainment staff didn't speak English. However, it was really relaxing and we'll no doubt go back.

Stayed in Aug.03- fully inclusive. Nice clean hotel, good position. Food and entertainment we found mainly catered for German tastes and very repetitive. However, Sunny Beach is a lovely place and we would go again but would go self catering/bed and breakfast.

The food was the same every day, different restaurants wanted 24 hours notice for chicken and chips!! pizza!!.  Towells or sheets were not changed all week. Staff walked around with faces like"constipated spaniels"!  Outside the hotel restaurants and entertainment was very reasonable and the people were very friendly.

stayed in nessebur this year excellent hotel, food acceptable, staff friendly.  only problem is there is only entertainment geared towards the germans.  had a brilliant holiday going again next year

stayed in hotel july 2003 very clean,food left alot to be desired,no entertainment not alot for children to do.alot of room for improvement here.

We stayed at the hotel from june, 4th until june, 16th. A very nice and very clean hotel.  Nice food. We will recommend it at our family and friends.
