Bad food, bad rooms, bad everything i hate this place its bad i recommend The royal sun apartments there class and there internet is crap alls i can say i waste of money!

Mint hotel. food great. plenty to do. staff dead nice. cudnot complaine and the nightlife great. beer very very cheap went in 2008.

we went 2 mena palace in 2007. staff really friendy. food really nice. lady on the hair nail bar was really nice she rememberd us the year after when we stayed in kalina gardens we went back 2 c them and they all made us feel welcome.

We stayed at the Mena Palace in August 07 and loved it so much we booked for 2 weeks Jun 08. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, family rooms are massive, very clean, staff brilliant, food nice, pool lovely. Loved the resort too, loads to do, loads to see. Nessebar gorgeous. Not sure why comment made below about not to go on the Off Road Adventure. We went on it with our 2 kids, ages 4 and 8, we loved and so did they. A great adventure and would definitely recommend it. Suppose if your boring or in your 90s, it might not be for you!

we have just returned home after having spent a wonderful week in the mena palace hotel we found it to be spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, the staff were excellent as was the food we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return for another holiday

hi i stayed in mena palace in may 2006 the hotel is superb food is nice as well i would recommend to anybody to go and drink in the streetside bar the barman there is called evo his english is really good and you'll be surprised with his scottish accent. very good laugh and very helpful enjoy your holiday as much as I did.

Last Year (2005) I spent 2 weeks at this hotel with my Wife and 2 Children (12) (9), Brother & Sister Law + their 2 Kids + My Mother & Father inlaw (Pensioners).
We ALL enjoyed this hotel so much that within 1 week of getting back home we booked the same hotel for our 2006 holiday. The Rooms were Very clean, Food was great, Staff friendly, pool was a bit dirty but this was sorted out quickly when it was pointed out to the staff. The Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main nightlfe location. There is plenty to do in this area where the hotel is located.
One final thing Do NOT go on the OFFROAD excursion.

My husband and I are just home from 2 weeks half board at the Mena Palace Bulgaria - had a ball!!
Lovely hotel - very clean, rooms nice size - maid service excellent. Food was ok - loved their soups and salads, however they don't seem to like their food too hot - but you are in another country. Eating out - excellent and extremely cheap - recommend 'H C Andersens' - Fillet steaks are the best in Sunny Beach - very friendly staff - can't do enough for you. Alcohol - even cheaper!! Leather goods etc., cheaper still. Beautiful sandy beach. Nessebar is worth visiting by boat and try the seafood in the restaurants there. Will definately be booking ([+]view more) for next year in a hotel closer to the beach overlooking the Black Sea - we thoroughly enjoyed it. GO TO SUNNY BEACH - IT CATERS FOR ALL AGES AND YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!

Although we didn't enjoy Sunny Beach in Bulgaria, we loved the Mena Palace. Spotlessly clean, lovely room, the building itself was really nice. Food excellent, both breakfast and dinner. Staff excellent (special mention for Violetta the waitress), nice bar, nice pool etc. It was one of the few hotels where the pool wasn't right next to the road so you didn't get diesel fumes pouring out onto the sunbeds !

this hotel was poor it was not what i expected of a 4* hotel i have been to bulgaria twice and have stayed at the fenix hotel.
the rooms where small ajnd the emenities where poor, staff where unfriendly and wanted money, the pool is clean and spacious but to get a bed you have to be early. overall the mena palace is ok but i wouldnt recomend it to older couples more for youngsters (18-30).
Balkan where our tour operator and we found out that they never turned up when you needed them, the fenix is much better and i would recomend it to anyone.

We stayed in hotel Mena Palace for 1 week.
This is a friendly and clean hotel. The staff could be a little more friendly .. but i think it will come by the working times (12hrs a day, 7 days a week). The food was different every day. We stayed in a room at the roadside, but is wasn't very noisy.
The people from the hotel helped very friendly and they speak English an German very well.
In the near erea there were many bars and restaurants and they were also good. Many bars are open 24hrs. We're looking forward to go back there next year.

this is a beautifel new hotel rooms very spacious and very clean.
the staff are all very friendly especially george.
and friendly porter called petar
the pool is very clean and gets sun all day long.
the only bad point is the food needs some improvement, but other than that i would recommend it as it is close to everything beach, shops
