Hvis jeg skal sætte en finger på noget er det er der er utrolig tynde vægge så man kan høre hvad naboen siger og de kan høre hvad man siger... Was this review helpful to you? janice kean | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful I have returned from a fabulous holiday at the Neptun Beach Hotel. I shall never go to Spain again. Room enormous, air-conditioned, luxurious carpet and a beautiful bathroom. Right on the beach, inside and outside restaurant with the friendliest waiters, especially Yovkov. Loads of choice for food. At breakfast, warm crepes, at dinner the chef cooked kebabs, chicken etc plus a huge range of buffet dishes. Gin/Spiced Rum etc was 50pence and your ice served in a separate glass with silver tongs to help yourself. Nessebar unbelievably beautiful. Maid every day with four clean towels. She even arranged my daughter's Teddy bears on her pillow ([+]view more) after making her bed. In summary, I thoroughly recommend this hotel. Was this review helpful to you? The food was great and all the staff was polite and plesent and was always willing to help. I went out for a meal twise whelst we was staying there and both times i could never complain and the chicken was lovley. The pool had a life guard who i would be more then willing to trust becouse when one of the umbrelles feel into the pool he striped down to to his speedos and save the umbreller from drowning. I would advise any one to go becouse it was the best holiday i have ever had. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Amy McGowan | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful It was our first family holiday in Bulgaria. And our best holiday yet! Our room was nearly 30 foot long, with a t.v, Couch bed and 1 double bed and a single bed. I am Amy Mcgowan and i am aged 11. In the mornings the chef made crepes with any topping you wanted, i liked chocolate spread on my crepes. There was a great pool and area. There was a cafe which sold non-alcholic coctails and alcolic coctails. There was a great walk way which led on to the very clean beach. So for my conclusion Hotel Neptun Beach is the coolest hotel in Bulgaria yet. This year i am going to Hotel Victoria Palace. Was this review helpful to you? Yes No N Reid | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful Me and my family spent a week at the Neptune Beach, in August it was out of this world. Granted it catered for mainly for the Germans but it was so cheap to eat out that it was an excuse to do so. We found the place to be very clean, the staff were okay and the whole holiday was very relaxing and enjoyable. We would all return to the Neptune Beach and Sunny Beach it was a great holiday. It's a must see! Was this review helpful to you? Yes No Patricia Knight | 3 out of 3 found this review helpful Two friends and I have recently returned from a one week break at Sunny Beach. Originally we booked 3 seperate rooms, but were shunted into an open plan studio offering no privacy whatever. It too k3 days for changes to be implemented, grudgingly, .The staff never smiled, were less than helpful and no matter what question was asked, the answer was alwasy the same ''I do not know'' Watch the reception staff in making ''convenient'' mistakes with cash transactions. We had an incident when settlign a phone a.c for which we paid twice, but the girl on the desk denied that she had taken to money, perhaps to preserve her job, I do not know, ([+]view more) but dishonesty on the desk something to be wary of.
The food was awful.....repeated every evening. The manager never spoke to one, no-one smiled. The German and Dutch tastes were well catered for but the Irish and English and Scottish , alas, did not feature o nthe menus at all. Tho the the Hotel was clean, it leaves a lot to be desired from the staff point of view, they obviously hate thier work, reflected in their dour sour personalities. WE  came acroos a lot of dishonesty and ;;rackets; even at the airport with Governmnet Officials taking open bribes to allow cigarettes to go through. This is a Country we want in the EEC??????,  Ouch...dont we have enuf gangsters here already. It will take Bulgaria a long time to enthuse visiotrs from Ireland and Britian to flock i ndroves as we do to the Canaries. I WONT  be back to be openly robbed, nor will my friends. It was a nexperience I admit......

Reid, Gormley Party | 2 out of 3 found this review helpful It was a fantastic place to stay, we have just returned on 18 Aug 2003. The place is Very clean. Great location, right at the beach. We only had breakfast there a few times as it was cheap to eat out but it was mainly catered for the germans. But that wasnt a problem as the place was so good. We had our 15 month daughter with us and the staff and locals were very friendly and very helpful. It is a definate must to stay at. Was this review helpful to you? James Bailey | 2 out of 3 found this review helpful At first, when I was invited to visit Bulgaria for a holiday, it wasn't the first place that had ever entered my head, when thinking of a resort to visit (especially since it was a 'lad's holiday)

How wrong was I?!

I went to the Neptun Beach Hotel, and was amazed.  I have travelled many places across the globe, and stayed in many hotels, but I must say this was one of the finest.

It was always kept clean, the staff were always helpful, and as I was to find out, the resident doctor was also very good.

The night life is superb.  The Iceberg club is very close to the hotel, as the suite ([+]view more) we were in was on the closest corner of the hotel, to the club.  As we were on a lads holiday, this didn't really create a problem, as we were usually in there, or some other night-spot.

So, overall... SUPERB!!!  It was that good, we are trying to book again for next year.

C. Vickers | 2 out of 2 found this review helpful My wife and I stayed there in August 2002.
Overall Impressions :
The hotel had only been open for five weeks when we arrived, so the standard of the fixtures and the cleanliness of the hotel were as you can imagine still of a very high level. The overall impression given to me by the staff was that this would continue and they could not have been more helpful or friendly

Rooms :
Our room was of a high standard, similar in size (If not larger) & layout as a ?Holiday Inn? hotel. Furnishings consisted of -:

1 x King-sized bed.
1 x Chair / Sofa-bed.
2 x Bedside units.
1 x Coffee table.
1 x ([+]view more) Dressing table & Mini-bar (Mini-bar could be filled if requested at the reception).
Wardrobe (open)
Hair dryer.
Direct-Dial Telephone
(Use the Blue public phones which are on all main streets and are much cheaper ? cards can be bought in most shops).
Shower (no bath).
All rooms have balconies, which are the full width of the room, as are the full length double glazed windows. However we were at the front of the hotel and the windows did not stop the noise from the Iceberg night club (but we work on the principal of  ?If you can?t beat them, join them?). We had booked a pool / sea view at the back of the hotel but it took us two days to realise and we were too lazy to move.
The noise did bother most people however, but the Iceberg may not be there this year are a new hotel is planned for that site !.

Food :
Thee restaurant was spotlessly clean but the menu was targeted more towards the German/continental tastes. This did not bother me as I will always find something I like.
One couple did mention this to the staff and the comment was instantly passed to the manager, who made what changes that could be made to accommodate the British tastes. The manager also requested a meeting to find out what else could be done in the future as they wished to attract more British guests to the hotel.
The other people in my group did not like most of the food, but this was a great excuse to eat out, as the resort is full of restaurants serving great food at great prices.
The hotel has a beach bar/Restaurant which is open all day and most of the night (until the last customer or about 4 am) serving decent food and drink at a reasonable price. A pool bar (all day until around 1am) and a Bulgarian theme restaurant (7pm until around 12am) which I was told was quite good.
The hotel also has it?s own small night club, which is discreetly hidden downstairs and accessed from the outside only. This was very quiet and only populated by the locals, but this is probably due to it only just opening.

Swimming Pool :
The pool is not particularly large, but it is adequate clean and only 3 ? 4 feet deep, which is good if you are taking children. However no lifeguards patrol the pool so safety is your responsibility.
If you are a beach person you have hit the Jackpot as the hotel is right on what is probably the best part of the whole beach. Life guards are on patrol during the day and please DO TAKE NOTICE of them as some people were ignoring the lifeguards advice which is stupid as they are the experts of the local conditions. The sea is quite calm but as with all beaches the undercurrents can be strong.

We have decided to go back to Sunny Beach next year, and on our return home we were surprised to find that this hotel is fully booked for 2003. Bearing in mind that it had only been open for seven weeks at that time we tryed to book.
