went here in 1997 and 3rd floor was off limits then!..As soon as my wife left the bar i was asked if i wanted jiggy jiggy by George the barman, i soon left...... other than that it was a very good hotel to stay in...lol

me, my husband and two kids have now been to sunny beach 5 times and have stayed at the kuban 3 of them. our son split his foot open on the pool tiles and the onsite dr was their in a flash. i did here a rumour about the 3rd floor being a brothal but saw no evidence to prove it. and just because the woman are skinny and pretty, it doesn't mean they are hookers!!! i cant wait for aug 2008 as we are back there again. Well me and my family went to bulgaria a few years ago and loved it so this year we thought we would go again. we did and stayed for 2 weeks. we stayed at this hotel, it was lovely food was great, rooms were good and staff were ok but not very friendly. we didnt let it bother us and we got on with out holiday we had a great time. So the day came when we were leaving our bags were packed and we were ready to go and then we got charged 50 Lev for 2 towel that were said to be lost ! which were NOT . this hotel is a Con !

went to the kuban in july 07 it was very good very friendly staff and the pool was very clean lots to do the hotel rooms was very clean and the towels were change every day the maid nadia was on our floor she done everything you ask of her

great hotel very clean .is ideal 4 children , and yh floor 3 was off limits but it was no bother n staff wher friendly n the maffia didnt bother you. we all would love 2 go back , hope to in the fuchure . dnt be put off by these comments this place is mint !!!

hotel was scary! it was owned by the mafia who weren't very friendly and they were threatening. the 3rd floor was off-limits as it was a brothel. staff were nice and food was stunning. it is right in the middle of town so it was really lively, night clubs surround it. quite hard to get to sleep! a paris hilton lookalike often wondered the hotel, no very friendly as she thought she was better than any one else!

this hotel is run by the russian mafia, full of prostitutes. not good for kids as there is a disco in it the chutes there are dangerous too.

brilliant hotel great staff went there in 2004 with my hubby and 3 kids going back in august 2006 cant wait. food was great kids loved the pools and slides, daughter hurt her leg on slides lifeguards were great they even arranged for the massues who was on site to give her a free massage on her leg, once she had been checked by the onsite doctor

i was on holiday with my girlfreand and the four kids and it was a very nice and frendly hotel we weant in june for two weeks the hotel was that good that am going back on the 18th of september with my pal staff are very nice and helpfull they got me a birthday cack for my sons 16th birthday

15th augaust 2005 My son cracked his head open and fractured his skull after coming down one of the slides, life guards useless, do not use this park, we heard of lots of accidents.

THIS HOLIDAY WAS ABSOLUTELY WICKED! I WOULD GO AGAIN ANY DAY! THE STAFF WERE KIND AND THE BEACH IS NICE AND AND SWIMMING POOL IS BRILLIANT.

My husband and i stayed at the hotel sept 03. We were not sure what to expect. We had no need to worry at all. We both really enjoyed it. The breakfast was great lots of choice we couldn't believe it. The hotel was really clean. The food at most places is great and so cheap you just have to tell someone. We are booked in again for June 05. We both cant wait. Could not get the Kuban (drat) so we are giving the Globus a try. We just hope it is as good.

two weeks ago me and my family went flew back to germany. we spend our holiday in bulgaria and styed in a wonderful hotel, which was named KUBAN!i didnt believe that it would good holiday, but after our arival i changed my opinion. it was great!i liked EVERYTHING! the rooms are very nice, so you can feel like at home and the food is very very good, hmmmmm=)i fell in love with one of the boys who gave us the food, his name is vladi and i really miss him.i want to visit this hotel again. because of 2 reasons:1.Vladi and 2.the hotel!that were the best holidays i ve ever had!really! i will never forget it!KUBAN&Vladi:I will be back soon,i love you ([+]view more) guys!your loyal guest Marina

Very clean hotel with nice breakfast. The aquapark was clean en the hotelstaff was friendly. We were sleeping above the disco so we ask them for another room and that was no problem! The new room was perfect with a perfect vieuw over the sea. Only in the aquapark we had to pay for the beds by the pool! 8 leva (4 euro) per bed per day! We were hotelguests. No airco. At night there is loud music till 06:00 a.m., so you can't sleep with the door open. Hot. Nice big rooms and modern. Every day new touwels and cleaninglady.

Nice and clean hotel. Very friendly staff. Good disco and a good pool but hotel residents should not have to pay for the shoots and sunbeds at the auqupark. 10 of us went for 2 weeks and had a good holiday ,no complaints. we recomend the hotel and resort for all ages.

My wife and I spent three great weeks at the Hotel Kuban in 2001. 70's decor, hard beds, cord carpets it was FANTASTIC!!! Never have I been to a place that just gets on with it and lets you have a great holiday! If you want to spend £2000 on a holiday, and we have, you go to Thailand. If you want basic, no frills, typical ex-soviet accomodation at a great price, where people welcome you with open arms and as friends, go to Bulgaria! We are comig back to Pomorie in 2004 and can't wait - We are having four weeks this time! Try it, you might like it!!!

we stayed at kuban hotel in june 2002, it had just been refurbished anf found the rooms very comfortable and staff very helpful, we couldnt get into it this year so went  somewhere differant, but we have already booked for next year and can i tell you the two weeks we are going at the end of may is now fully booked, i think some people want 5 star for the price of 3 star.

room decorated in 70's style ( brown sheets, brown carpet, brown wallpaper (you get the picture). food awful, however the staff were brilliant.
