We have just returned from the iglika for a 5th time and have once again had a fab time. The hotel is basic but the staff are brill and always have a good time with us. We have been on other holidays but always feel at home when we return to Bulgaria. If you stop here give the place a chance you will not regret it.

I booked this hotel for my parents for there 40th Wedding Anniversary and this is what they had to say. The room was awful, the beddding never once got changed, there was ants all over the room, no extra sockets to plug anything in and no air conditioning unit therefore having to leave the door open every night and the next day suffering form mosquito bites. I have since found out that this hotel is over 25 years old and therefore in need of some remodifications. They would definitely not reccommend this hotel and would not even give it a 2 star rating. Definitely Avoid This One! JW

I HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM THE IGLIKA HAVING USED IT AS A BASE FOR TRAVELLING AROUND BULGARIA.
AS YOU CAN READ IN OTHER REPORTS...THE ROOMS ARE VERY VERY BASIC..JUST SOMEWHERE TO SLEEP. HAVING SAID THAT.. I WOULD PREFER THIS MUCH TO THE HUGE TOWER BLOCK HOTELS AS THIS BEING A SMALLER PLACE, IT IS EASY TO GET TO KNOW EVERYONE (IF YOU WANT TO!)
ALL THE STAFF IN THE HOTEL WERE VERY FRIENDLY.. RECEPTION, WAITER, ROOM CLEANER AND THE 3 BAR STAFF WHO KEPT THE BAR OPEN 24 HOURS PER DAY. THE BAR STAFF SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL AND ARE LOADED WITH INFO ON THE HOTEL AND AREA. THYEY WOULD PLAY ANY MUSIC THAT YOU WANT.
THIS HOTEL IS IN A GREAT POSITION ([+]view more) JUST A FEW MINUTES WALK TO THE BEACH AND RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUS STOP FOR NESSEBUR AND VERY NEAR THE COACH STATION.
WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK THERE SOMETIME EVEN THOUGH THE ACCOMODATION WAS NOT THE BEST...THE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE MADE UP FOR THIS.

I would give this one the elbow stayed here June 2006 Hotel in very bad state of repair .
The bedroom facilities are poor Bathroom basic & needing a total overhaul to bring up to some basic standard . It was not one of our better choice hotels have stayed in better Can't say that I have stayed in any thing that was as poor as this before ,
I would not return here even if they let me stay for free

we came back from the hotel iglika last year after our annual holiday all 11 of us on the 12th of august 05. when we arrived at the hotel at 4am the bar was still open which we needed a drink after a long journey, we booked in at reception which was an experience in its self. the reception staff were really ignorant. we entered our rooms which were very basic but hayho thats all you need somewhere to sleep and wash and change. but when entering the bathroom well if you could possiby call it that our door was rotten half way up stinking of a nasty smell toilet leakin from bottom of pan on to floor as you can imagine we were very upset.the only good ([+]view more) thing about the bathroom was the shower brilliant water pressure and constant hot water. any way we put up with the bathroom had a brilliant fornights holiday and are going back this year for another fortnight but to a different hotel.

Recently returned from iglika and would definately go back. The facilities may be bog standard but nevertheless clean. The hospitality myself and my family recieved was second to non. May be a 2* hotel but id rate it 5*!!!

The hotel is fantastic it may be basic but the staff and hospitality make up for this.
I met my husband at the Iglika and feel that the stff and friends i know have at the hotle are now my family.
I will always go back and shall never forget my magical times at the Iglika.

hotel, food and staff good, rooms cleaned every day but the toilet/shower room leave a lot to be desired!!! lots of renovating required. the hotel is central and close to the beach so that is a plus.

got back on the 28 june  had o very good time in this hotel very clean and the staff was very good to all of us the pool a very good size a lot of sunbeds we are going back to this hotel in 2004 and are taking our 21y old son and his pall with us
